MY STORY

Hello I'm Harriet morris, I'm a freelance makeup artist and i wouldnt  swap it for the world, i adore making people feel confident on the inside and out!

I first fell in love with  makeup when i was about 15 i think i must of collected all the BARRYM eyeshadows as i loved to experiment with them .

when i was 17 i had to choose what carer i wanted and i new straight away it would be in the beauty industry, there was no makeup course in the colleges near me so i did my beauty nvq level 2 and 3 which included a makeup course, they also  got *ARTDECO* to come in for a day to train us, i was so excited as they had worked with the bbc and strictly come dancing stars.

In my second year i decided to do an apprentiship as i wanted money to pay for more makeup (i was gettin a bit of a collection of makeup by now ha). In the salon they put me on *BARE MINERALS*  trainning which was 2 day course and i learnt loads from natural makeup to a smokey eye.

When i was working for the salon they also entered me into a makeup competion called warpaint northwest beauty show and i came home with 3rd place i was over the moon. 

I Then decided i wanted to travel so i did a contract working on the cruise lines, where i worked doing skincare and makeup for the geusts this is also where i fell in love with M.A.C COSMETICS as i bought my first ever mac lipstick from new york!!

The final part of my story is When i i got Home from the cruise line i new i wanted to follow my dreams of being a makeup artist, i didnt have a job to come back to so i lived on youtube looking at makeup tutorials, i must of been practising everyday,  so once i felt ready i applied to all the big makeup brands and  i got my dream job working for M.A.C COSMETICS.

*MAC COSMETICS* was the best company to work for i learnt so much and my artisty just spiralled out of control, i loved keeping up  with all the new trends and trying new teqniques, They sent me down to birmingham for a weeks basic trainning and we learnt so much, the girls who work for M.A.C are so inspirational and everyone has there indivudal style! so i worked for M.A.C for 2 years and i was gettin lots of people wanting me outside of work and now this is where i am today serving you lovely ladies :)
